Description

Moodyville Mews is a new condo development by Cascadia Green Development currently in preconstruction at 343 Saint Davids Avenue, North Vancouver. Moodyville Mews has a total of 169 units.
This is more than just another building: this project is proposed to be a pedestrian and transit-oriented, commercial and residential hub in the rapidly-transforming neighbourhood of Moodyville. The land includes the north side of 400-block East 3rd Street, between St Patricks and St Davids Avenues, and 341 St Davids Avenue, which is across the lane and north of the East 3rd land.

169 residential strata suites are proposed, ranging from smaller, entry-level units through 3-bedroom family-oriented suites. 9 suites will be offered at 25% – 50% price discounts through BC Housing’s Affordable Home Ownership Program. Additional suites will be offered as part of a Rent to Own Program, allowing purchasers, who have good jobs but no down-payment, to convert two years of rent into a down-payment.

The east part of the lane is proposed to be closed to traffic in order to create an outdoor market, with small shops sheltered by a colourful canopy. The project also features ground-level commercial units fronting the east half of East 3rd Street, and live/work units on the west half of East 3rd Street. A patio for a restaurant is proposed at the south-east corner.

The project includes a daycare, which will be given to the City. The City will lease the daycare to a non-profit operator, who will use the proceeds to subsidize social programs in North Vancouver.

A beautiful rooftop deck amenity is proposed over the west building. It includes facilities for shared meals, a play space for children, raised garden plots, and gathering space.
